The Manor at Minster Lovell
A diary written by Elizabeth Cordelia Bates in 1917, unearthed by the Research Team of The Enchanted Faery Dollhouse Company, chronicled the mysterious discovery of the The Manor House at Minster Lovell.
Although the actual location of The Manor, hidden on the banks of the Windrush River, remains hidden our artisans have replicated the house from descriptions and drawings found in Miss Bates' diary.
The Manor at Minster Lovell was completed in 2008. The 1:12 scale house was constructed from high grade plywood, river rock, standstone and natural oak All furnishings (with exception of the harp) are handmade by the artist. Roof is natural straw thatch, and the entire assemblage is embellished with natural mosses and dried flowers.
The Manor was sold into the Weinberger Private Collection in 2008.
